Background and aims: Postural abnormalities could adversely effect on the body perception, particularly in young people. If they don’t detect and treat, may have effect on physiological function. The aim of this study was to determine the musculoskeletal disorders deformities among teacher students of Arak city and relation with mental health and quality of life.
Methods: This study is cross-sectional and correlational research. In this study, a sample of 120 students of randomly had been chosen. In order to collect data on musculoskeletal disorders, the grid and New York test and mirror box and flexible ruler and to collect information on the quality of life and mental health of valid questionnaires GHQ and the General Health Questionnaire Goldber were used.
Results: The results of the analysis showed that about 91% students had musculoskeletal disorders and variety of postural abnormalities and mental health and quality of life of students, there is a significant negative relationship.
Conclusion: Musculoskeletal disorders not only effect on physical health and organs function, but they are effective on Psychological factors. So, it can be concluded that on time identification of a significant will have a great impact on community member’s physical and mental health.
